LEAP 2 LEARN Tutoring Services
Private and Semi-Private
One-to-one private sessions are tailored for each of my students based on their learning goals, interests, and needs. This ensures that my students have fun, get the most out of their tutoring sessions, and make progress toward achieving their academic goals.
Semi-private sessions are by invitation only and are an ideal option for students who are developing their confidence to express their ideas and understandings. These sessions can provide greater scope for interactions, educational games, making connections, and sometimes even result in friendship.
Flexible Learning Environment
I believe that a relaxed and comfortable learning environment is crucial to the success of my students. That's why I offer tutoring sessions that are conducted in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that fosters learning and growth.
A Collaborative Approach
In many cases, I work with my student's families, teachers, and schools to help my students reach their goals. This approach means that my students are getting some consistency between what happens at school and in our tuition sessions. This is entirely optional for families. I aspire to provide private tuition and intervention that does not take away from the enriching classroom environment that a school provides, but instead it complements this. All tuition occurs outside of school hours unless recommended or approved by relevant professionals, including class teachers.

As a registered teacher, with a professional responsibility to keep up to date with current best practice, I ensure that my teaching approach is evidence-based using a variety of strategies and methods proven to be effective in supporting student learning. All programming also aligns with the Australian Curriculum.
